What You Will Do

• Learn all about Monta’s data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Dagster, Steep, Claude) and use your newly gained knowledge to automate manual processes

• For instance: Work closely with teams like Finance to map processes, automate them end-to-end, and ensure the outputs are reliable

• Help us bring Monta’s Business Intelligence to the next level: We are introducing a semantic data layer that powers our transition from dashboards to metrics first BI

• Propose and drive your own project ideas that create measurable value not only for Monta’s data team but also for the wider business

What We're Looking For

• You're currently studying a bachelor's or master's in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field — with at least a year left

  • Interest or previous experience in scale-ups/entrepreneurship is a plus

  • Interest or previous experience in Finance / Fintech is a plus

• Has previously worked with Git, Python and SQL

• You are a builder. You like to iterate fast, and build things that deliver value to stakeholders quickly. You love the feeling of shipping a tool that saves people time and you follow through to make sure it actually gets used

• Comfortable with AI-powered tools such as Claude code to accelerate your work with the willingness to learn more

• You're curious, hands-on, and thrive in environments where you get to figure things out

• You're fluent in English; bonus points for other languages 😉
